The pen tip is bent like a beak, and has cross slits. The cross slit at the tipping is made possible by layering two pen tips as one. The strokes are sharp yet delicate, and bold strokes are produced when the nib is reversed. This nib is perfectly designed for quick hand writing in a large demand of ink consumption.

SAILOR 1911 NAGAHARA CROSS CONCORD NIB FOUNTAIN PEN
I have spent a year dabbling but was completely drawn to this pen and its dual mode of writing. Pengallery did a fantastic job sending it and I received it within a week’s time. The cross concorde is everything they say it is and then some. Fine when writing normally, and very thick bold in reverse, but line width can be controlled by writing angle. I am very happy with the pen, thank you Pengallery for your excellent products and services!
