Product Description
Mita Sanshodo Sumi Ink Collection
Handcrafted Japanese Ink for Fountain Pens
Rooted in Japanese tradition and refined for modern writing, the Mita Sanshodo Sumi Ink Collection is a celebration of craftsmanship, nature, and calligraphic heritage. Each ink is housed in a handmade glass bottle, meticulously cut using the traditional Edo Kiriko technique. The faceted design reflects light beautifully and stands as a symbol of Japanese artisanal culture. Originally, traditional sumi ink was made from pigment with coarse particles, which could be harmful to fountain pens. This collection reimagines sumi ink by transforming it into a fountain-pen-safe dye ink, offering smooth flow, excellent compatibility, and subtle depth of color.
Inspired by plants, woods, and natural elements, the inks express not only color, but also the essence and atmosphere of their namesake materials.
