Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
Lennon Tool Bar – Yehliu
Part of the Autumn Limited 2026 – Let’s Go On A Trip Vol. 5 collection, Yehliu is inspired by Taiwan’s beautiful coastline and its naturally sculpted rock formations. Over millions of years, waves, wind and rain have shaped Yehliu’s unique landscape, including the famous Queen’s Head rock. The ink features a warm golden ochre yellow with subtle brown undertones, inspired by the weathered rocks and earthy colours of the coast. Its rich shading brings depth and warmth to every stroke, capturing the natural beauty of Yehliu on paper.
