Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
Lennon Tool Bar – Shun Feng Er
Part of the Summer Limited 2026 collection, Shun Feng Er is inspired by one of the guardian beasts in traditional Taiwanese folk religion. These mythical guardians serve the deities by protecting temples and listening to the prayers of worshippers. Shun Feng Er, known as the Wind-Tracking Ear, has the ability to hear every prayer and whisper. It listens to people's wishes and carries them to the gods, symbolising understanding, communication and compassion. The ink features a dusty mauve pink with subtle burgundy undertones, creating a soft and elegant shade. Its delicate shading adds warmth and depth to every stroke.
