Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques and classic indigo tones, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.

Penghu draws inspiration from the basalt cliffs lining the shore, dark and quiet like ink itself. At dusk, as the sky glows with red and gold, the rocks take on a subtle warmth from the sunset. The result is a hue that balances strength and softness, adding depth to every written word.
