Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques and classic indigo tones, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
The Lennon Tool Bar 2025 Taiwan Design Expo collection celebrates thought, design, and cultural identity in Changhua. It features three limited-edition fountain pen inks, with only 400 pieces per color, each inspired by stories of reflection, transformation, and collective memory.
Mirror is an ink that follows the flow of thought. With every stroke, ideas sharpen, the mind calms, and clarity emerges—like a mirror reflecting truth. Its radiant, luminous blue pierces the sky’s shadows and ripples endlessly across the page.
Created in collaboration with ikuiku studio, Mirror draws inspiration from the Youth Development Department of Changhua County Government, dedicated to guiding young people along their paths. Like a mirror offering clarity and direction, this ink embodies reflection, understanding, and quiet confidence.
