Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques and classic indigo tones, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
Following the success of the first three colors, Lennon Tool Bar introduces three new inks inspired by classic Taiwanese teas—designed to remind you to slow down and savor life. Write your stories, and experience the gentle, lingering sweetness of Taiwan tea with every stroke.
Mesona, known for its cooling and digestive properties, appears in desserts like grass jelly and in traditional medicine. Mesona tea can be enjoyed cold in summer or warm in winter, offering a healthful drink with a unique balance of gentle sweetness and subtle bitterness.
