Product Description
Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques and classic indigo tones, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
Lennon Tool Bar 2024 Summer Limited, Komainu :
Komainu (guardian lion statue): Many shrines were built in Taiwan, and though some declined after the Japanese government’s departure and became temples, the Komainu statues remained. Quietly stationed in the temple grounds, they continue to watch over and protect the people of Taiwan.
