Product Description
Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques and classic indigo tones, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
The Lennon Tool Bar 2025 Taiwan Design Expo collection concludes on a gentle, luminous note. Three limited-edition fountain pen inks, with 400 pieces per color, emerge from the intersection of design, place, and sensory memory.
Jasmine is inspired by freshly picked jasmine blossoms layered with green tea—a tradition deeply rooted in Changhua County. Through careful drying, the fragrance gradually infuses the leaves, revealing its full aroma when steeped in hot water.
This ink began with a quiet discovery: jasmine hydrosol is still produced in Changhua today. By blending this local essence into the ink, Lennon Tool Bar transformed fragrance into color. The result is a calm, luminous shade that embodies jasmine’s subtle, elegant, and gently intoxicating character.
