Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques and classic indigo tones, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
The Indigo Series from Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by aizome, the traditional art of indigo dyeing, and seeks to celebrate and share this timeless craft.
Lennon Tool Bar Indigo Yundoumuhua, in Japanese Noshime-hana, looks when Indigo Dyed textiles, having been used for some time, are worn with color fading and tainted with dust.
