Product Description
Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques and classic indigo tones, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
The Indigo Series from Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by aizome, the traditional art of indigo dyeing, and seeks to celebrate and share this timeless craft.
Lennon Tool Bar Indigo Nahu, known in Japanese as Nando-iro, is a medium-toned blue. The name originates from the Edo-period government role nando kata, whose official uniform was dyed in this color. The ink is presented in a 30 ml glass bottle.
