Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
Lennon Tool Bar – Expansive Mist
Part of the Autumn Limited 2023 collection, Expansive Mist is inspired by a mountain town along Taiwan’s northeastern coast. As the sun sets over the sea, thick mist slowly rolls over the mountains, covering the town in a dreamy blanket of fog. The quiet landscape feels timeless, as if hidden away from the rest of the world. Inspired by the cooler autumn weather, when the sun becomes gentler and the rain settles, this collection celebrates the beauty of exploring Taiwan’s natural landscapes and peaceful mountain towns.
