Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
Lennon Tool Bar – Deep Mountain
Part of the Autumn Limited 2023 collection, Deep Mountain is inspired by Taiwan’s ancient tree forests and their rich natural history. Long ago, enormous iron dragons travelled along winding mountain paths, carrying ancient trees down to the plains. These trees later spread across the land, providing shelter and life for countless creatures. Their branches and leaves continue to thrive, bringing the beauty of spring to the landscape. This ink celebrates the beauty of Taiwan’s ancient forests and the deep connection between nature, history and life.
