Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques and classic indigo tones, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
The Atmospheric Series from Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by natural atmospheric phenomena. All inks in this series are waterproof, combining beauty with durability.
The true color of the firmament has long been debated among scholars. For Firmament, Lennon Tool Bar chose to capture the hue of adolescence—a poetic, youthful shade to fill this timeless gap.
