Founded in 2014 in Tamsui, Taiwan, Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by the traditional art of indigo dyeing—an industry that flourished in Taiwan over a century ago. At the time, Taiwan exported doroai, a key raw material for indigo dyes, to the Japanese Empire.
The brand draws from these historic dyeing techniques and classic indigo tones, translating them into a modern and distinctive colour palette.
The Atmospheric Series from Lennon Tool Bar is inspired by natural atmospheric phenomena. All inks in this series are waterproof, combining beauty with durability.
Lennon Tool Bar Atmospheric Cloudy Day captures the color of a heavy, overcast sky—a shade that recalls the gloomy weather we avoided as children.
