Kobe INK Monogatari #23 Nagata Blue
Nagata, located just west of central Kobe, has long supported the city’s shoe industry. The district was heavily damaged by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995 but has since rebuilt and revived. Nagata is also the birthplace of Mitsuteru Yokoyama, creator of Tetsujin 28 Gou (Gigantor), and a life-size monument of Tetsujin stands near the train station. This color reflects Nagata’s resilience and the strong, bold presence of Tetsujin, a symbol of the city’s rebirth.
