The nib is made in 18kt gold to match the pen’s metal fittings. This demonstrator pen is made in semi-transparent blue and white acrylic resins that blend together to recreate the colors of the the Ocean and glaciers with immense natural reserves. The Antarctica fountain pen takes its lines and shape from the iconic Opera Master collection with the added technical benefits of a double reservoir filling system, a hook safe lock closing mechanism, and a transparent body. White and blue semi-transparent acrylic resins were chosen for this demonstrator pen. When mixed together, they recreate the shades of the enormous expanses of ice over the Antarctic sea.
