Inspired by the Shioya, on Kobe’s west side, is known for its distinctive Western-style houses built by foreigners who admired the scenic area.
Many of these ijinkan (foreign residences) still preserve and use vintage furniture with care.
This color captures the rich, glossy sepia tone of that historic furniture.
