Visconti turned to the Etna volcano to bestow the virtually unbreakable body to this incredibly long lasting writing instrument. The material contains over 50% lava and is mixed with resin to create a fantastically dense, slightly hygroscopic, heat resistant structure that is then polished to provide a beautiful finish that requires no overlay. In dreams, even two apparently faraway elements can cross paths and flawlessly blend. The Homo Sapiens Crystal Dream is inspired by the oneiric world and showcases many characteristics of our most iconic creations. This fountain pen is the natural evolution of the Homo Sapiens Bronze collection from which it takes its materials, metal finishes, and hook and lock closure system. The power filler double reservoir transforms this pen in a particularly unique demonstrator model. The Homo Sapiens fountain pen has as standard Visconti’s 18K nib.
