The combination of flowing silhouettes display distinct patches of colour, all blended harmoniously uniting varying shades of blue. Like the colour of sand dunes under a midnight moon, the interplay of blues in each 805 Blue Dunes writing instrument is unique. 

The rings and the clip are palladium plated, and the 18 carat gold nib is completely covered by rhodium in order to obtain the silver sheen. An iridium grain at the tip of the nib determines how thick the ink stroke will be.
