Aurora Limited Edition Dante Purgatorio Fountain Pen
Product Description
Dante Alighieri plays a fundamental role as founding fathers of the Italian language, Notably the author of "Divine Comedy". The Divine Comedy describes Dante's journey through Hell (Inferno), Purgatory (Purgatorio), and Paradise (Paradiso). While the vision of Hell, the Inferno, is vivid for most modern readers, the theological niceties presented in the other books require a certain amount of patience and knowledge to appreciate. Purgatorio is arguably the most lyrical of the three, referencing more contemporary poets and artists than Inferno; Paradiso is the most heavily theological, and the one in which, many scholars have argued.
In the second canticle Dante describes the structure of purgatory, it is a mountain, consisting of a matter that Lucifer has raised in his fall, digging the abyss of Hell; it is surrounded by the sea, and would in the Antarctic hemisphere of the world.
