Designed by Marco Zanuso who is trained as an Architect, He was one of a group of Italian designers from Milan shaping the international idea of "good design" in the postwar years. Marco Zanuso works and designs have a permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Aurora Hastil fountain pen is one of the most important examples of Italian design in the world. The pen has some interesting features like the special clip and the spring loaded clip fits flush with the cap. When posted the cap never touches the barrel due to insets at the barrel end.
